Corrections and data reports

CourtScope separates a possible problem report from a verified correction. Reports are reviewed against official source records before public data or scores change.

Include the city, case or judge page, the exact item that may be wrong, and the official source that supports the correction.

What happens next?

  1. Receipt.The system creates a report identifier.
  2. Source check. An operator compares the report with official records and stored provenance.
  3. Impact check. If verified, CourtScope checks whether the change affects a case, judge summary, or score.
  4. Correction.Verified changes are recorded with the affected source and methodology version.
